There's a lot of good information in the book but it's not very well written so ends up confusing and contradictory.

I appreciate English is not the author's first language but the book really needs to go through an English-speaking editor. It's very hard to follow because of that. Some of the concepts are very technical so needs a good, clear explanation. You can kind of get what the author is trying to say but it is not always obvious. Even some of the diagrams still have Italian titles on them. Language aside, the author isn't particularly consistent in his ideas.

In one of the chapters on fundamental analysis he repeatedly draws conclusions based on information he flags up as not included in his list of data to consider. The chapter on probability of achieving targets has no explanation of how he arrives at either the targets or the probability.

Or maybe he does and it's just lost in the badly written text. In the same chapter all the charts are colour coded Like the text needs an editor, the charts need a graphic designer. The whole thing is badly formatted. It looks like a bunch of blog entries that have been PDF'd. It feels cheap as well, like a print on demand project.

My copy looks battered and it's only a couple of months old. I want to like it but just can't. For this reason, learning and most importantly using Fundamental trading should be a common sense practice. This is a good read for anyone who wants to know the important concepts to consider as a forex trader, just like a lot of people trading i concentrated a lot on technical analysis without much thought to the fundamentals, as I've evolved as a trader i came to realise the need to have some fundamental knowledge of the forex market which led me to this book, its straight to the point on most of the core concepts you need to know eg gdp, interest rates, balance of payment,employment, central bank policies etc , its been a very knowleadgeable insight into the drivers of the price we see on the charts and is a must read for anyone looking to understand forex fundamental analysis.

The main strategy of the book is a fairly simple and obvious swing trading approach: buy the strong economy, sell the weak one and do it at solid higher timeframe support and resistance levels.
